2007 - 2008 Our 60th Season!
On Golden Pond by Ernest Thompson, is a classic American comedy that's every bit
as touching, warm and witty today as when it debuted on Broadway in 1979. Retired couple Ethel and Norman Thayer spend
every summer at their home on Golden Pond. This year, they are visited by their divorced, middle-aged daughter and her dentist fiance, who then go off to Europe, leaving his teenaged son behind for the summer.
The play explores the turbulent relationship between father and daughter, the often hilarious
generation gap between Norman and the boy, but most of all, its a love story of a couple facing the twilight years
of a long marriage. Performance Dates: June 6th, 7th, 8th, 13th, 14th and 15th
